I set out to interview a few friends on video as part of a project called Figure Study Journal. One of them was Rio, a longtime friend who had recently begun sharing his running practice online. Since then, he has completed ultramarathons and appeared in advertising on Times Square billboards. The videos aim to capture his personality and document that moment in time for us.
